Mandarin & Cantonese Ministries
The Discipleship Group (DG) is a young adult group consisting of working professionals in their late twenties to early forties of Cantonese background. Some are single, some are married.
Through the support of this group, we help one another in our Christian walk, share together our burdens, grow together in knowing Christ and carry out His will in this world. It is for the purpose of training up leaders for different ministries.
We meet fortnightly on Friday nights, alongside informal gatherings throughout the month.

Word of Life Group 查經課程
YAYA is an acronym for “Youth And Young Adults”. It consists of young people of mid-teens to late-twenties, from high school to university students and working holiday visa holders with a Cantonese background.
A member of our church will usually cook a meal so that we can enjoy delicious food together before having the fellowship time which will finish by 3:30pm. This is followed by prayers in small groups. When we are not studying, we have some more relaxed gathering activities such as BBQ, bowling, and playing laser tag.
We enjoy studying together, playing together, and laughing together. Our aim is that through our time together, we can grow into a healthy community of Jesus Christ, so that we can carry out his mission in the world.
We gather at SDBC every Sunday 12.30pm-3.30pm, during the school term after the Cantonese service.
